RINGERS Premiere and Party!

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 16! SONY PICTURES HOME ENTERTAINMENT is giving Tolkien fans a very special, final chance to see the award-winning RINGERS: LORD OF THE FANS in full glory on the silver screen, a spectacular premiere to celebrate the DVD release on November 22nd.

The premiere screening will take place at 7:30PM on November 16th followed by an after-party that'll last 'till about 1AM. The screening will be held at the gorgeous Vista Theatre in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles. The Vista Theatre is a RINGERS filming location and you'll see both the marquee and the interior in the film!

The after party is being organized by the people who brought you the great TheOneRing.net Lord of the Rings Oscar parties! It will be held 1/2 a block away at hipster hang-out, Rudy's Barbershop. Admission is for 18 and over only. (So please bring a government-issued photo ID.) The after party will be a great place for Ringers to hang out with the filmmakers.

We'll have a costume contest, silent auctions for charity, (For a list of the fabulous silent auction items click here!) and a DJ for dancing! Beer and wine and soft drinks are included with the price of the ticket. Some light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Celebrity attendees
Who's attending is the question on everyone's lips! We've put out invitations to many of our celebrity interviewees in RINGERS. (Visit our IMDB page to read our cast list.) While we cannot guarantee that they'll attend we do expect, fantasy author Peter S. Beagle, rock & roll drummer Robin DiMaggio, producer Tom DeSanto, and members of World Without Sundays. Elijah Wood and Sean Astin have been invited and are checking theri schedules. More attendee announcements to come soon as we receive confirmations, so keep checking this page!
